CSK vs PBKS Dream11

Dream 11 Game 8, CSK vs PBKS.

Probable playing XI :

Chennai Super Kings: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni ©, Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar.

Punjab Kings: KL Rahul ©, Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Shahrukh Khan, Jhye Richardson, Ravi Bishnoi, Riley Meredith, Mohammad Shami, Arshdeep Singh.

Captain: KL Rahul

With 428 runs at an average of 71.33 and a strike rate of 152.85 KL has been dominating opponents here at Wankhede. His last four innings are 94, 100*, 91, 91 at Wankhede. The flat wicket suits his technique.

Vice Captain: Sam Curran

Sam Curran was phenomenal with his cameo of 34 runs with 4 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 226.66, the reason we are choosing him as vice-captain is also that he is a new ball bowler and swings the ball well. We saw yesterday and even in the first match, DC bowlers were up to the mark with the new ball its all about adopting the conditions. We believe Sam will deliver with the ball as well as with the bat, expect Sam to bat ahead today. Yesterday left-arm pacers ruled with the new ball.

Other picks: Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Agarwal, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, M Shami, Joey Richardson.

Tips: Mohammad Shami has a bad economy at Wankhede, since he is experienced, we are going with him, if you want you can replace him for Meredith, we may see Meredith at his best today.

Why didn't we choose Hooda and Ambati?

Hooda though had performed well we are leaving him behind since his overall IPL career record suggest that he struggles against left-arm spinners, Jadeja might pick him. Ambati as other the end, plays down the order, if the situation arises, because Murugan Ashwin or Ravi Bishnoi, Sam may bat ahead of him being a left-hand batsman.

Alternate choices:

  • You can go with either Agarwal or Gaikwad, Gaikwad struggles against swing.

  • You can also go with the Pooran for a vice-captain if you want.

  • Meredith can be a good option at M Shami.

Thank you for reading.

Pre match analysis Game 4, RR vs PBKS

Preview: The Rajasthan Royals and the Punjab Kings are fundamentally similar teams, despite the latter’s change in name. Both are dependent on their big-hitters who carry the side down through the lower order, and their opening clash may very well turn out to be a thrilling prospect which kicks off this season in spirit with a high-scoring affair. This time around, they’ll be missing their MVP Jofra Archer, which puts even more pressure on their indigenous talent. But the mantle for leading the attack can potentially fall on either of two foreigners – Mustafizur Rahman or Andrew Tye. The success of the t

Prematch analysis Game 6, RCB vs SRH.

Preview : IPL Season 14 – Match #6 - Royal Challengers Bangalore Takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad   RCB and SRH have shared a great rivalry in IPL. It dates back to 2016, when SRH defeated RCB in the final to lift their first trophy while increasing RCB’s quest to get their first title even further. Since that season, SRH have been making it to the Play-offs each time without fail while RCB could only reach the play-offs in 2020 after that final loss, finding themselves in the bottom half of the Points Table thrice in a row. Interestingly, RCB’s hope to the title was against dashed by SRH, who chased down 132 in the final over, handing RCB their 100th IPL Loss.
