Pre match analysis Game 7, RR vs DC.

Preview,

"Don't have words to explain my feelings, I don't think I could have done anything more," RR's skipper Sanju Samson said after losing their first game on the very last ball of the game against PBKS. At the other end, Rishab Pant won his first game as a captain and started the season with a bang. Both the new captains will face their second game against each other.

IPL season: 14

Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Capitals.

Venue and Time: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 7.30 pm (IST)

Rajasthan Royals: it was never going to be easy when you were to chase down 222 runs, Samson had almost pulled it off single-handedly, he walked out to bat when the score was 25-2 and from there on he had almost snatched it from jaws of PBKS. Ben Stokes, unfortunately, ruled out of IPL for the entire series due to a finger injury and that's a massive blow for them. That may bring Jos Buttler to his favourite position to open the innings. By doing so, Miller may get in at Stokes in the middle order. The bowling department looks a bit concerned for RR, the debutante Chetan Sakaria bowled a brilliant spell and bagged Mayank, KL Rahul and Jhye Richardson. On a flat track, he conceded only 31 runs for his 3. He was impressive, tactically smart with his slower ones and pinpoint accurate with the new ball. At one area Rajasthan will want to improve is their bowling, they have not been doing well at the bowling department over the past few years except a Jofra. RR bowlers conceded 72 runs between 11-15 overs and 60 runs in the last 16-20 overs. They would want to forget the last match and come all well into this match.

Delhi Capitals: Delhi's opening partnership swaggered at the beginning of their campaign into the IPL. Prithvi Shaw and Shikar Dhawan tore CSK's bowling apart, they added 138 runs for the first wicket. Capital's bowlers bowled the first six overs well, Avesh dismissed Faf and followed by Woaks in the very next over to dismiss R Gaikwad. That made the difference in the game. R Ashwin was expensive, but we all know his abilities and can expect that he will bounce back. We were expecting the last year special duo Nortje-Rabada would straight away get in, however Nortje has been tested Covid positive yesterday and he will be quarantined in a result, Rabada will also be not available for the match and will remain quarantined. Avesh Khan was pretty Quick and bowled a brilliant spell. DC may remain the same squad.

Probable playing XI (RR): Jos Buttler, Manan Vohra, Sanju Samson ©, David Miller, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Shivam Dube, Shreyas Gopal, Chris Morris, Chetan Sakaria, Mustafizur Rehman.

(Since there isn't much experience in the middle overs Miller can be added or else Livingstone will open the innings and buttler may play at 4).

Probable playing XI (DC): Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishab Pant (c), Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Woaks, Ravi Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Tom Curran, Aavesh Khan.

(We may see one chance in Capitals, Praveen Dubey may replace Amit Mishra).

Key players to watch out for :

Delhi Capitals: Rishab Pant, Marcus Stoinis, Chris Woaks, R Ashwin.

Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Chris Morris, Chetan Sakaria.

Something you should know about,

  • DC has the worst economy in the middle overs which is 8.5 most by the team.

Pitch report: Last both games have been scored 180+. Considering the few factor chasing will be the idea. Expect another high scoring game.

Dream11 for today's match :

Predictions: Delhi has experience whereas RR have young players, however, we will go with the chasing team.

Pre match analysis Game 4, RR vs PBKS

Preview: The Rajasthan Royals and the Punjab Kings are fundamentally similar teams, despite the latter’s change in name. Both are dependent on their big-hitters who carry the side down through the lower order, and their opening clash may very well turn out to be a thrilling prospect which kicks off this season in spirit with a high-scoring affair. This time around, they’ll be missing their MVP Jofra Archer, which puts even more pressure on their indigenous talent. But the mantle for leading the attack can potentially fall on either of two foreigners – Mustafizur Rahman or Andrew Tye. The success of the t

Prematch analysis Game 6, RCB vs SRH.

Preview : IPL Season 14 – Match #6 - Royal Challengers Bangalore Takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad   RCB and SRH have shared a great rivalry in IPL. It dates back to 2016, when SRH defeated RCB in the final to lift their first trophy while increasing RCB’s quest to get their first title even further. Since that season, SRH have been making it to the Play-offs each time without fail while RCB could only reach the play-offs in 2020 after that final loss, finding themselves in the bottom half of the Points Table thrice in a row. Interestingly, RCB’s hope to the title was against dashed by SRH, who chased down 132 in the final over, handing RCB their 100th IPL Loss.
